Highlights of this national historic site included wonderful views of the harbour and town, interesting architecture, costumed reenactments, and daily cannon fires.
Will especially liked the artillery demonstration. The 12-pound cannon (loaded without ball) being fired by history nerds.
The exhibit was interesting but short and similar to every other fort (or Canadian museum) you've ever been in. We missed the gift and coffee shops, but wouldn't pay the $10.90 each to go back and see them.

Did you guys see Pier 21 while you were in Halifax? It was just finalized as one of the Seven Wonders of Canada tonight! ;)
